Forgotten Password OR to Unlock an Account

This option is for users who have forgotten their network password and need to manually reset it. It’s also used to unlock accounts after three unsuccessful log on attempts

  • Enter User ID
  • Select “Self Service”
  • Select either “Unlock Account” or “Reset Forgotten Password”
  • Unlock Account
  • Choose your “Authentication Type“:
  • 3 Challenge Answers, which will use your previously enrolled Challenge Answers
  • “One-Time Password,” which will either email or text (if registered) a password
  • Once the user’s identity has been verified, the account will be unlocked
  • Reset Forgotten Password
  • Choose your Authentication Type
  • 3 Challenge Answers, which will use your previously enrolled Challenge Answers
  • “One-Time Password,” which will either email or text (if registered) a password
  • Once the user’s identity has been verified, the user will be prompted for a new personal password

Troubleshooting:

  • If you enter their ID, select “Self Service” but are not able to select “Continue” or get an error stating “Bad Request Type,” you will need to contact the Help Desk.  
  • Husson IT will need to confirm their DOB, Home Address Zipcode and ID Number are in CAMS
